Won easily; second and third driving. Queen of the Hills drew out in the first stride and won all the way decisively, is fresh and good and was much the best. Rye was sore in his preliminary, but ran in nearest and strenuous pursuit throughout; Miss Crittenden held forth in the rear and then moved up for third place in a belated -rush. .Lord- Stanhope, reserved well up In "the early running, succumbed in the last stride for third place. Albert Star, badly outpaced from the start, closed a big gap in the last half and finished with a rush. Kllliecrankle finished well up. Keep Moving ran forwardly for five furlongs and retired and seems in bad form. Golconda forced the pace for seven furlongs and quit. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Queen Marguerite, -well up throughout, was a persistent and close up third. Trols Temp ran forwardly for five furlongs, but. tired and is still short. Osorlne, away poorly, made up much ground in a leisurely fashion. Mobility was prominent all the way and is worth remembering. Comedienne ran moderately well, though never dangerous. Prince Ahmed was reserved in forward pursuit of the fast going pacemaker and wore her down in a long and hard stretch drive. Rose Queen beat the barrier and made the running under a pull to the stretch, but tired in the final sixteenth and succumbed in the last stride under a weak finish. Nimbus, away badly and pulling up at the start, ran into quick nearest pursuit of the pacemaker to the stretch turn, then quit badlv. Beauclere, pulled up violently at the start, was rushed into the lead in the first quarter and, setting a siow pace, outstayed his opponents in the final sprint. Eschau trailed patiently in the middle running and challenged with a rush midway of the stretch, but was a lucky second. Bellcview injudiciously helped the pacemaking hi the middle running and was bumped and fell back when a sixteenth out, but came again and was just nosed out for second place by Escliau while easily second best.
