ALL IS READY AT WINDSOR. Plenty of Racing Material on Hand and Successful Meeting in Prospect. Detroit, .Mich., July 30. The summer meeting of the indsor Racing Association begins tomorrow under conditions that promise to make it the greatest meeting ever held at this course. The Windsor plant has been practically remodeled since last summer. A new clubhouse and a picturesque paddock, built In tho center of a grove of trees, make this particular part of the course the most attractive of any of the tracks on the Canadian circuit. Several substantial-looking stables have been erected on the ground that the club acquired last fall, and many other improvements have been made looking to the comfort of horsemen and public. There is an abundance of racing material here, including nearly all of the stables that raced at Fort Lne, with the exception of a few that left for Saratoga. In addition, there have been numerous arrivals from Latonla. A strong string of racers owned by It. L. Thomas has been here since the close of Hamilton: also those of Amos Turnev. W. H. Mosby, and a division of William Shields stable, the horses that have rested are in splendid fettle and are likely to prove formidable opponents to any that have been campaigned on the circuit. Among the Latonla arrivals are those of T. II. Stevens whose horses were just beginning to round to at the close of the Latouia. meeting. A few came on from California, Including those of J Cooper The hitters baud includes Work aud Play and Rita. There will be nineteen days of racing and judging by the interest displayed, the meeting should be more successful than any of its predecessors. The race following already here is of record proportions, including many visitors from Chicago Louisville. Cincinnati. Cleveland. Pittsburg. Ruffalo and Xew York.
