AMERICAN HORSES CUT NO FIGURE. London, Eng., July 31. The Juvenile Selling Plate of 100 sovereigns, for two-year-olds, distance five furlongs, was won at Alexandra Park today by Irish Vote. Aye Aye was second and Washington third. II. P. Whitneys Tyrconnel was one of fifteen starters. The Maiden Two-Year-Old Plate, 100 sovereigns, for two-year-olds, distance five furlongs, was won by Amadeus. Carnea was second and Niatawali third. Nineteen horses started, including H. P. Whitneys Littoral. The Municipal Handicap of 200 sovereigns, for three-year-olds and upward, distance five furlongs, was won by Wind Flower. Marchesa was second and Lady Ormonde third. H. P. Whitneys Sea Cliff was among the unplaced contestants. There were twelve starters.
