RACE HORSES FIGURE IN THE COURTS. Butte. Mont., July 31. Race horses are figuring in the Montana courts just now. Mrs. Bessie Bond of Denver lias sued out a writ of replevin for Proteus, a horse that S. K. Kelly has been handling under a leasing arrangement. The courts have been called, upon to decide as to the ownership of Crcston, which horse is claimed by both J. N. Stokes and W. T. Anderson. Creston is in possession of Anderson and he refuses to give the horse up to Stokes.
