He has won but one bad race., at six furlongs, Latonia. August 17. 190G. in 1:1S?. II. J. XV. Milwaukee, Wis. The disqualification carried all bets with it. Bets are decided by the official placing, and in this case Dr. Waldo Briggs was placed last, losing your bet. W. D. Millard, Vancouver. B. C. McGee. October 25, 1904, at Kansas City, made a track record at three-quarters of a mile in 1:123. He had raced fcister at IHarlem before the Kansas City record. The American record at the time was Dick Welles 1:11!!. The English record was some four seconds faster, but made on the Epsom straight course.
