THOROUGHBRED SHOW AT LEXINGTON. Lexington. Ky., August 14. A show of thoroughbred horses featured the closing day of the Blue Grass Fair and was one or the best that has been seen here in vears. Entries were more numerous than ordinarily, the quality of the horses liner and the general interest of breeders and patrons keener than hitherto. T. C. McDowell secured the greatest number of premiums, being awarded five firsts and two seconds. James R. Keene got two firsts and two seconds: J. N Camden one first and one second: Milton Young one first: W. E. Appiegate two seconds; II. P. Head-ley and George It. Ott one second each. G. I. Wilson was judge.
