INSPECTOR GENERAL showed the most speed for three furlongs, then tired when challenged. BODEGA, on the Inside, saved, ground when entering the homestretch and finished gamely. PILKA was raced into exhaustion in keeping pace with LOTHARIO for the first six furlongs. The latter was speedy, but tired.
