PENSAC0LA RACING IS RESUMED. Ieii-ac.la. ri :i . . April is. Traces of Saturdays severe storm were entirely obliterated today, a big force of workmen having restored the fencing and other portions of the plant that bad been sligbtlv damaged. Pleasant weather served to bring act a fairly large attendance and the racing was interest ing. Starter William Tribes first experience with the barrier was not oyer promising. Three of bis attempts daring the afternoon were failures, the fields being dispatched in ragged order. The defeats of Alvise. Donablo. Canopian and dyadic, choices in their respective races, enabled the books to score heavily. There were several arrivals this morning from Jacksonville, and the* belped to infuse life Into the waning game. About fifteen horses will arrive from Jacksonville to par Urinate in the racing here until the close, and will then be transferred to Helorim-r Park. Montreal. for the opening there May 15. The Helorimier Park management has announced a readiness to prepav freight charges ou all horses ahinaca] from here.
