The Martindale Jockey Club is a splendid advertisement for tin- totalizator. The clubs headquarters are at Manoora. a town about eighty miles north of Adelaide, ami alxtut a dozen years ago the local p.-oph- organized a race meeting. Just at that time racing could hardly 1m- said to be prospering in the e itrv. but witli the assistance of tin- totalizator the club has gone ahead by leaps and bounds.
