May 19. — The first Canadian bred horse ever sent to Kngland tor the Derby is now on the Atlatitic on lioard the steamship Montcalm from Montreal. As previously announced. Raymond M. Dale, of South QuAppelle. Sask.. is the enterprising breeder and owner, and the colt is Kel dOr. a son of Kelstou anil Drowsy. Kelston is a Longfellow horse, from the mare. Anette, the latter formerly owied bv Ptearlra Marie, of Woodstock, and Drowsy is a JBwirBtor of CwMra Dawn. Kel dOr. now two reara old, will be sent to the noted trainer. Sam Darling, of Bcekhamidoii. who will prenare him for next years race at Epsom Downs, or find out that he is uot of Derby caliber.
