WORK-OUTS OF EASTERN HORSES. New York, July 14. — Recent work-onts of horses in training at Empire City were as follows. Empire City— Weather clear: track fast. Al ItnUer — Five-eighths in 1:04. Shows a fine burst of speed aud looks ready. Adrtnche — Mile in 1:47. Shows all her speed and is at her best. Black foot — Three-eighths in 38. Has not been asked to show much speed of late. Bear of the Mountain — Mile in l:.Vji. Looks well and works along nicely at all times. Campaigner — Mile in 1 :48J. Has been going along slowly for some time and is now doing nicely. Cherish— Three-quarters in 1:20. Looks well and works well at al! times. Captain Morris — Mile in 1:48. Was under a pull throughout. Cundleborry— Three-quarters In 1:291. Was well in hand and could have run fast if let down. Charivari — Five eighths in 1:06. Shows a lot of speed throughout his work. Boininus Arvi — Ball mile in 40. Shows all his sliced and is close to his best form. Dau care — Mile in 1:53. Was tmtler a good pull and could have worked fast if wanted. Everard — Seven-eighths in 1:33?. Shows a good work whenever asked. Etherial — Three-quarters iu 1:18. Coming around nicely to his l est form. Everett — Half mile iu 40. Shows all his speed and is at his liest. Pita Herbert--Mile and an eighth in 1:50. Coming around nicety to his beat form. Golden Sand- Five eighths In 1:03. Has all her speed and should race well. Green-bridge— .Mile in l:46f. Works along nicely at all times and looks ready. Gliding Belli — Mile 111 1:44. Shows a lot of speed in her work. H.tuley — Three-quarters in 1:17. Looks well aud works well at all times. Hectason -Five eighths in 1:03. Has all his speed and shows some improvement. Jack Atkia Half mile iu 40. Shows all his old-time speed-lack Rose -Three eighths in 39i. Shows a g I turn of speed and should race well. J. H. Reed Three-quarters iu 1:181. Has all his l» ed and is H adj to race. Jupiter Jin-— Five-eighths in 1:01. Leaks well and works well at all times. Keep Moving — Half mile iu 52. Shows all her speed and is up to her best. Li ah -Five eighths in 1:03. Nice work for this filly. Moaade — Fire-eighths In 1:04. Was under a stiff pull thiaagknnt. M. Star Charter — Half mile in 51. Has all his speed ami is at his best. Swish- Three eishths in 98. Shannon Three quarters in 1:19. Has all his speed aad never looked better. Semprolus-Half mile In 51. Has ltcen going aloug slowly for some time; now doing nicely.
