CONDENSED HISTORY OF THE TARRYTOWN STAKES + + Old Honestys owner had good reason to think well of the first year of racing at Empire City, for his sturdy campaigner was in good form and won several stake races, among them the Tarrytown. which is to be run for the fourth time this afternoon. The next year the excellent race horse. Frank Gill, was its w inner easily. For those two years old the race was a dash of a mile and a sixteenth, for three-year-olds and over, but last year it was changed to its present form of a mile, for three-year-olds exclusively, and fell to the useful filly.
