GOSSIP FROM KENTUCKY SOURCES. Louisville. Ky.. July 21. — Wool Sandals. Light Blue and Fleurons Daughter have arrived at Churchill Downs to join the string of T. Abadie. who now has nine head in all at the local track. Wool Sandals; Light Blue and Fleurons Daughter have been running out since the Jacksonville winter meeting at Jake Greenliergs farm in this county, and they appear to have been gr«atly benefited by their rest. .1. .1. Mr. riaaadgaa plans to get together a string of four or five good horses to campaign on one of tho winter tracks. He will most likely race in California. Trainer P. Coyne has begun the breaking of nine of the Bashford Manor Farm yearlings, all eotts. six by Alvescot. two by Sir Huon and one by W. F. Schultes young sire, Battn. They are as promising a lot as" ever came from that noted place and even now are good actors on the track at Churchill Downs. Mr. Longs favorite is a chestnut cult bv Alvescot. out of Merry Heart, but they are. all around, such a good looking band that it is difficult for the ordinary horseman to make a se lec tion as to which is the best prospect. There is in the lot a bay colt by Alvescot. oat of V ic toria B., that is es-peciallv phasing to the eye and both the Sir HaoA colts lire tasty-looking fellows. Trainer Coyne will not take up Sir. Longs yearling fillies until he has thoroughly broken the colts. There are seven fllli,s of this age at Bashford Manor Farm, three of which are daughters of Sir Huon.
