GOOD HORSES FOR LEXINGTON. Lexington. Ky.. September .!. — Secretary W. H. Shelley announced today that lag entries had been received for the stakes of the Kentucky Association to be run at the fall mooting, representing the excellent average of :;.;. The following list of entries for the Phoenix Hotel Handicap, one and one-eighth miles, gives a good idea of the class of horses that will provide the racing: Ocean Bound, Countless. Joe Morris. Helmet. Donate, Miami, Mary Davis. Glorio. Turncoat. Haabrldge, Norbitt, hen. ; la. Poxy Mary, Kings Daughter. Boarboelte, Royal Report, Nimbus. Great Heavens. Leauience. John Furlong. Sager, Console. Jupiter Joe and Belluf. There are now 2H horses at the track, exclusive of yearlings. George Ham arrived today with the Holle-Gerst horses and A. Wilson came with Ethel Din and Wander. Col. Thomas H. Clay is to preside during the meeting, with D. Gfajr Falconer and I . . D. Wilson as his associates. Mars Cassidy will do the starting and W. ! I. Shelley will combine the duties of racing secretary, handicapper and clerk of the scales.
