SCRIBO, off forwardly and in close pursuit of the pneeaaakers to the stretch turn, finished fast and won going away. BBLAIR was off well and a game and prominent contender all the way. SDKS NOSTRA closed .-. tap, miished resolutely ami outstayed SHOT. The latter set the early pace, but fired and was handicapped by the going. TWICKENHAM ran away a quarter before the start. The race was run in a heavy rainstorm and colors could not | e distinguished except on those in front. DONALD MA DON ADD outbroke his opponent! and was rated along in front at a fast pace from start to finish. KVKUKTT ran under slight restraint in ChMM early pursuit of the leaders, but tired when the Dual drive came and is best on a dry track. GPY FISHER followed the leaders close uo to the stretch turn, where he was taken to the outside, then wore FLYING FOOTSTEPS down in the stretch and just got up in time to win. FLYING FOOTSTEPS set a fast pace and only succumbed in the tinal stride. EMPEROR WILLIAM was badly outrun for the first three furlongs, but saved ground on the far turn and when entering the homestretch. LADY IRMA was tiring at the end after running in closest pursuit to the stretch. DOROTHY WEBB took the lead at once and set the pace to midway of the stretch, but tired badly in the final drive. AMYL closed a big gap and finished gamely.
