ONAGER, oft forwardly, bat outrun to the stretch tara, wore the leaders down and gamely outstayed SWFKPAWAY in the final drive. The latter broke well, but immediately dropped back and her rider had her first on the outside and then on the inside and she finished fast near the rail. DARLING showed great speed, but tired at the end and probably was short. ROGON was sharply cut off on the turn out of the backstretch. CRICHE DOR was taken under restraint for the first mill and trailed along in the rear until rounding the far turn, where lie began to close up, then caught the leaders tiring in the homestretch and drew away Into an easy lead in the last sixt teeth. ELGIN moved up with a rush after entering the homestretch, but tired after making a menacing challenge. RESTORATION ran under a pull until in the last half, then came fast and beat tiring horses at the finish. DON ANTONIO set the pace to the final furlong, then quit when challenged. ACUMEN was siieedy, but tired when the winner challenged and quit badly. SIGHT finished gamely and was wearing ACUMEN down after working his way up on the outside. POP. CO. began very slowly. FLASHING ran well. POMITHILDA was cut off and knocked back on the turn out of the backstrelch.
