Start good. Won driving: second and third the same. BEATRICE SOULE ran a brilliant race, coming from far back in the stretch and getting up in the last stiide of a great finish. ST. HELIER ran into the lead on the turn and only succumbed right at the end. HERETIC ran forwardly and gamely throughout and barely failed to win. ACADE.MIST went well, but was outpaced by the first three. FRANK FERRIS ran a good half and tired in the .stretch racing. The othors were beaten off. NATIVE SON ran well and outgamed CHIEF DESMOND for third place. The latter ran well to the stretch and tired in the final drive. MARBURG finished well.
