QUICK TRIP, much improved, ran prominently from the start and, iu a fast and game finish, outstayed ROCKY OBRIEN through the last hundred yards. ROCKY OBRIEN had no mishaps and set a fast pace, but tired as if short when hard driven. ZOROASTER closed a gap into a good third and ran a good race. PRUDENT quit after running in closest pursuit to the stretcli. TORBELLIXO ran fairly well. FOR-DF.LLO broke down and was pulled up. LOFTY HEYWOOD closed a big gap. Overweights Juan. .1 pounds. SLEEPLAND made up ground steadily and, in a game finish, outstayed PRESUMPTION for second place. The latter ran in closest pursuit of the winner to the final furlong and tired, but finished resolutely. LEM DALE ran fairly well only and was always outpaced by the first tlu-ee.
