FOLLIE LEVY WINS JUAREZ FEATURE. El Paso. Tex.. January 31. The running of the Jalisco Selling Stakes and a well-balanced card served to attract a goodly-sized crowd to Terrazas Park today. !. M. Odouis fleet, filly. Follie Levy, was conceded to have the stake race at her mercy and ruled a strong favorite. She fully justified the confidence reposed in. licr by romping to the wire a winner. Good contests ruled throughout the day and with the success of two favorites and well backed winners, the public fared fairly well. Joseph Burttseholl purchased from G. B. Morris tin? horse Deadwood. Jockey J. Howard incurred tho displeasure of starter Cassidy in the first race to the extent of ten days suspension for disobedience at the barrier. The daily runup occurred at the conclusion of the sixth race when L. M. Eckcrt was bid up to 5705 by William AValker and liought in by owner Jos. Burttseholl. John Kissaue, a well-known bookmakers attache who has been seriously ill here with pneumonia, lias recovered sufficiently to make his re-appearance at the track.
