DREXEL 11 ILL, off forwardly and showing sudden improvement, dashed to the front at once and drew away after entering the homestretch, but was ridden out to outstay GOLD MINE. The latter ran a good lace, was hard ridden all the way and otitgamed ARAXY in the final drive. .ARANY had an inside post position and saved ground all the way. EATOX was shuflled back at the start and closed up gamely in the last furlong. CHIEF JACKSON ran fairly well only. MOISAXT will probably improve. Scratched 930SC Sausc. 109. DELL ran in closest pursuit of the leader until in the final furlong, then began closing up and, catching him tiring, outgamed him in the final drive. MONTY FOX showed a fine turn of early speed and set the pace fast, but quit, as usual, when challenged. FORT WORTH was a forward and game contender for the entire way. 1LMA began slowly, but finished fast and would have been third iu another stride. ELLA BRYSOX showed decided improvement over her previous recent racing and set a fast pace right up to the finish". USEEIT dropped back while rounding the far turn after being cut off at the half-mile post, but made a fast fiuish and almost got up to win. MASTER ROBERT was in a pocket nest to the inside rail until in the last sixteenth, where he was taken to the outside of the leader and, in a fast finish, almost got up to win. MARY DAVIS was a forward and game contender for the nlire way. JACK PARKER set a fast pace for three-quarters and tired. DESCOMXETS was caught in a Jam on the first turn. DISCONTENT was pulled up at the start and sharply cut off on the first turn. ABRASIOX ran well, but tired in the final drive. JOE GA1TEXS quit after running a good three-quarters. LOUIS REIL was in a jp.m on the first turn and almost fell, but recovered and ran a fairly good race. HAZELTnORPE showed Kpped and was pulled up when she tired. BEAU BRUMMEL made up ground ami finished fast. TEX PACES also finished well. AUXT KATE tired after being prominent to the stretch. Overweights Rosshampton. 1 pound; Queen Lead. 1.
