JOCKEY LANG LOSES HIS LIFE WELL-KNOWN EIDER IS VICTIM OF ACCIDENT AT JACKSONVILLE. Mishap with Fatal Termination Mars Sunning of Two-Year-Old Race Jockey Goose Goes Down at Same Time, But Escapes Injury. .Jacksonville, Fin., February S. The first fatal accident to occur at Moncrief Iark since the track was built, was recorded ibis afternoon when jockey A. Lang, who had tbe mount on AV. Gersts two-year-old. Working Lad, died as a result of a fall which came just before the turn into the homestretch.
