PORTARLINGTON. off poorly, closed a great gap steadily and iiuished gamely into a fast going second. ANNE REVERE, almost left, trailed far back for three-quarters, then eluscil an immense gap in the last quarter. ALBERT AAOLF ran well and made a game finish. ENDYMION II. suffered from interference at the start and, closing a big gap. finished fast aud gamely. MELTONDALE closed a big gap into a close up fourth.
