TAMPA HAS SOME BAD ACTORS. Tatupa, Fla., February S. Fractious starters ac-eouuted for long delays at the post today and marred-the racing somewhat. Now Star and Zilpah, in the lirst and fourth races, were the chief offenders and they will be barred from starting again until they show more tractablllty. Chalice, Inspector General and" Billy Pullman were successful choices, while Sweet Owen. New Star and Grenade were those that failed the public. An accident was narrowly averted in the third race, when a dog darted on the track in front of the running horses and just missed tripping Carew aud Cry Baby, which were then prominently in the lead. Todays attendance showed a decrease and speculation was light.
