OUTSIDERS TAKE OAKLAND PURSES. San Francisco. Cal., February 10. Outsiders were to the front at Oakland today. The biggest surprise cauio in tlie sixtli race, when Platoon, quoted at 30 to 1, led all the way to win by a neck from Summertime. Banibro, the favorite. lost all chance through lielng interfered with, by Twilight Queen at the start. Riddle, on Bambro, was suspended for three days for failure to take his position at the post. June W. won a race for T. H, Ryan at 20 to 1, while Alve B., another long-priced starter, beat Bcda. the favorite, for second place. Starry Night won the Gloaming Handicap from Ayame. thanks- to jockey Melntyres efforts. Jest ran out twice during the race. Ossabar was claimed for. 50. by J. F. Moore. R. J.
