DAY MAY showed miich early speed and raced EFFICIENCY Into subjection, then tired, but hung on gamely under punishment. DUVAL began slowly, but gained steadily and, finishing fast, almost got up for second place. EFFICIENCY, sore when going to the post, showed speed, but failed to stay the route. The latter moved up with a rush after tittering the homestretch, but tired finally under punishment. SIONTAGNIE-was outrun to the stretch turn, then closed up with a rush and will do to watch.
