NOMINATIONS FOR . THE KINGS PLATE. Toronto, Ont.. March 0. A satisfactory feature of the stake events of the Ontario Jockey Club, entries for which were announced today, was the decided increase in the nominations for the Maple Leaf and Breeders Stakes, both of which are -confined to Canadian-breds, and both, of which doubled the entry as compared with last year, showing the "growing importance of the breeding industry, in Canada. These events are for three-year-olds, to be run next year. The Stanley Produce Stakes, to be run in 1914. has ninety-four nominations, as compared with seventy-three last year.
