PLUME began slowly and was badly outrun for the lirst half, but finished with a rush. PARTON closed a big gap. LA DEXTRA, TOLLER and OLD NICK showed speed, but quit in the stretch. JUDITH PAGE closed a gap and, finishing with a rush, outstayed DON DOMO in tin- filial drive DON DOMO ran a creditable race for his first out in a long time, showed the most speed for a half, but tired in the stretch drive. JUNE AV.. Showing much speed, ran into a quick lead and. setting a fast pace, hung on gamely to the end. LITTLE MARCHMONT, off slowly; bumped his way into a contending nosition. but tired finally. ELLERD was outpaced to the stretch, but finished fast. ROUND AND ROUND and ALICE GEORGE showed speed, hut failed to stay.
