The latterwent around the others with a rush and showed much speed for five furlongs, then fell back. RUBY KNIGHT finished fast. PEEP SHOT set the pace for a half, then quit. WING TING ran prominently throughout: but was tiring through the last furlong. PATRICK S. only ran moderately well. GENERAL MAC GREGOR ran a good three-quarters and quit. The latter ran a good race and hung on with surprising, gamcness to the end FOND HEART saved ground all the way and was wearing the leaders down at the finish. HIGH RANGE closed a big gap after -being practically left at the post. BEDMINSTER made up much ground and finished close up. VOLTAIRE tired after running a good half.
