Under the new order the lKDokmakers feel confident that they will not sustain losses and are inclined to continue as long as possible. Diggs were the only favorites to score. The best race of the afternoon went to John Marrs. The judges today lifted the suspension against jockey L. Jackson on his promise that he would conduct himself properly in future and he signalized his return to the saddle by winning m Virsaln and throwing away a purse on Sabo Blend. A. D. Steele shipped today to Jacksonville. Jockey Steele -went along and will ride for a week or two at Monerief Park before going to Lexington. Jockey C. P.rown was suspended bv the judges for three days for striking jockey Dreyer with his whip. Beginning Wednesday, the entries to fields hero will he limited to ten starters in all races. This is done because of bad places in the track and tlio reckless riding of some ofthe incompetent jockeys here. Jockey Troxler was out of the saddle today on account of illness.
