MEXICAN JOCKEY CLUB OFFICERS. Washington. D. C, April 4. Advices have reached Washington announcing the election of Senor Jose Yves Limnntour as president of the Mexico City Jockey Club and chairman of its" board of directors for the ensuing year. Sebastian Co macho and Guillermo da I.auda y Escandon, who aro equally pupmlneiit in Mexican affair, have been elected vice-presidents. This, along with the fact that Senor Liinantour is minister of finance and the man to whom American investors and the United States government look to brlhg order out of chaos In Mexican affairs, indicates the favor with which racing is treated in that neighboring republic. The club has just completed a fine mile and a half track. Besides Senor Limantour, and the two-vice-presidents the club lias elected the" following directors: Fernando Pitnentel y Fagoaga.
