KING GEORGE TO RACE IN IRELAND. It Is reported from London that King George will run a couple of horses at the race meeting at Lebp-ardstown on July 10. This meeting has been specially arranged by King Georges wish in connection with the loyal visit to Ireland, and he and the queen will be present. This will be the first occasion on which his Majestys colors will be carried on the Irish turf. King Edward was, of course, an active supporter of racing in Ireland, and always had a few steeplechasers in training with G. AV. Lushingtoh at Cbiiyngham Lodge, The Curragh. His famous steeplechaser. Ambush II., was trained there when he won the Grand National. The best horse King Edward ran in Ireland in the last few years was FlaXman, .which won a considerable number of races and was believed at one time to have a great chance of winning the Graiid National. King Edward whs fbud of Irish racing and never missed an opportunity of going to a meeting when he was in Ireland. King George has no horses in training in Ireland at present, so that those selected to run at Leopardstown will be drawn from the string trained by Richard Marsh at Evortoii House. Newmarket.
