STEEPLECHASE RIDER DIES AT TORONTO. Toronto. Ont.. April 12. Dan Brazil, a well-known steeplechase rider, died Mondav in the General Hospital of pneumonia after a short illness. Ho came from Ireland many years ago and was then an accomplished horseman. He rode and trained jumpers in Canada and the United States ever" since and had a checkered career lioth in and out of the saddle. About four years ago he gave up riding and bis last engagement was training the horses of M. Hutchinson of this city. Interment took place yesterday iu Mount Hope cemetery.
