RECORD OF A VETERAN RACER. Mamie Algol, whose racing enrem- has been terminated by an accident at Lexington, was a racer whose usefulness extended beyond the ordinary limitations. She did not race as a two-year-old. It was as a stayer that she achieved her principal reputation, her forte being long distance racing.
