LEMBERG IS VICTOR QVER SWYNF0RD. London, Eng., June 1. — At Epsom today the Great Surrey Foal Stakes of 1,000 sovereigns, for two-year-olds, at five furlongs, was won by Leopold de Rothschilds brown Ally. Quintanona. by St. Vrusquin — Mrs. Quickly. H. Cholmondelys bay or brown colt, Bulltincli. by Missel Thrush — Lady Linton, was second aud the same owners bay or brown colt, Hall Cross, by Desmond — Altesse, finished third. Quin-tanoua was at 100 to 6 in the betting. The Coion.iti.Mi Cup, of 1,000 ■orerebrna, a gold cup of 200 sovereigns value and a sweepstakes of 20 sovereigns each, one and one-half miles, was won by last years Derby winner. Lemberg, with last years St. I/eger winner. Swynford, second, and the Kenipton Park Jubilee Handicap winner. Bachelors Double, third. Eight horses started. This race was won last year by the American horse. Sir Martin. Tin Royal Stakes, of 1.000 sovereigns, a handicap at three ipiarters of a mile, was won by A. F. Bassets four-year-old bay colt. Prince San. by San-toi — Regime, with Tower second and Poor Boy third. Twelve horses ran and the betting was 100 to s against the winner. King George was present again and viewed the racing with interest. *
