NO HAGGIN YEARLINGS LEFT HERE. Lexington. Ky.. June 27.— Commenting upon the ■hipaoeat of James B. Haggins Elmendorf yearliugs to England last Saturday, a publication that de-VOtea some attention to the turf says: "This shipment to the English market does not in any way suggest that Mr. Haggin will not sell on this side of the Atlantic and should racing return, and with It the market for thoroughbreds, he will be well represented at the Fasig-Tipton auction during the season." If Mr. Haggiu is to be "well represented" at the yearling auctions "on this side of the Atlantic" this season he will have to bring back some of the titty-three youngsters that are now on their way to the auction at Newmarket July 11, or acquire some trom other breeders, which he is not likely to do. Last fall Mr. Haggin made a shipment of some forty mares and foals to Germany, where thev were sold, and this left only fifty-six foals of 1010 at Elmendorf. There were fifty-three of these in the shipment that left New York for England on Saturday last. The three remaining at the farm are fillies that have been reserved for the stud and are not to be sold. They are a bay filly by Star Ruby — Discipline, daughter of Greenan ami The Task, dam of Sain: a bay filly by Greenan —Schoolmistress, daughter of Hamburg and The Task, and a bej lillv by St.ir Ruby — Zeala. a sister to Water-boy. This last-mentioned lilly might have gone to the sales but for the fad that she was foaled with a hernia and was not considered sufficiently groans to .iustity her shipment with the possibility of sacri ticiug her.
