FRANK MlLLENS ran in close and unavailing pursuit of the leader and lumg on gamely, but could not get up. His s:;ddle slipped, however, while rounding the turn. METROPOLITAN was running fast at the end COPPERTOWN was interfered with in the stretch racing. Overweights — Madeline Musgravc. 3 pounds. ARASEE had no mishaps and was weli ridden. KNIGHT DECK set a killing pace, but tired in the final sixteenth. MEADOW was under restraint for the first half, but failed to respond when called on with her usual brilliant stretch sprint.
