RACING AT HAWTHORNE TOMORROW. Chieagosna will tomorrow be afforded the opportunity of witnessing Some real thoroughbred racing, when the two days meeting under the auspices of Garden City Branch. No. 11, National Association of Letter Carriers, will be inaugurated at Hawthorne track. [here will be six races tomorrow and seven on Tuesday. The committee in charge has succeeded in bringing here from Kentucky some hotses of good caliber and interesting contests are promised. The racing will begin promptly at L::a oclock each day. John I. Day will serve as presiding judge, an I John Hogan, formerly an assistant lo Starter J. .1. llolt-man. will send the fields away. Ihe list of entries lor the various races is published elsewhere in this paper. For the accommodation of those desirous of attending there will be special trains direct to the track iiiii- the Illinois Central, leaving the Randolph street statVw each da] at Fin. 1:30, 1:45 ami J p. in. in addition the i agement has arranged to have busses meet all elevated and surface cars at Ibth avenue.
