GOVERNOR GRAY trailed along in the rear to the stretch turn, then closed op fssl and resolutely and would have won in another Stride. WHIST was much Hsed in racing *It!i MERIDIAN and Ured in the stretch. The latter set a fast pace for over a mile and tired from ex-CJtalve use. LAHORE stumbled alter going a furlong and alniosi fell.
