MONTREAL STALLS ALREADY IN DEMAND. Montreal, Que., July 2S. Although it is yet more than a month before the opening of the fall meeting of the Montreal Jockey Club, things are shaping well for its success. The management has spent a great deal of money this summer in making improvements, chief of which is the remodeling of the stables. There are now over COO stalls at Blue Bonnets and every one has been put in good repair. They have been walhxl to the roof, which is in itself a great improvement and one sure to be appreciated by the horsemen. Applications are already being made for stabling from those who raced here in the spring. All of the stables that raced here before will return to Blue Bonnets and good fields are assured. There will be a large increase in the number of horses, due to the fact that the Kentucky tracks will not open nntil after the closing of the Montreal meeting. The string of R. T. Wilson has been increased bv the addition of a number of two-year-olds and will he still further strengthened by the opening of the Montreal meeting, which begins September 0 and continues until September 10.
