The vanguard of tlie thoroughbreds that will invade Idaho for the Coeur dAlene meeting commencing September 11, has arrived in Spokane direct from Latonia In John Griffin II. and other horses owned by 1. C. Cottle. .Mr. Cottle was so anxious to reach the track in time to condition his iiorses for tlie thirty-six days program that he bundled his horses together with trainer F. T. Boone and three tons of Kentucky blue grass hay, liito an express car and hurried to Spokane. He states that three carloads of horses are en route from Latonia by freight.
