Won driving: second and third the same. GREAT FRIAR quickly ran into a good lead and won all the way. but finished tiring. ROYAL DOLLY ran a f.ood race, closed a gap and was gaining at the end. ETHELS began very slowly but, making up much ground, finished fast on tlie outside. MAMMY showed speed, but was done at three furlongs. PBNANG fell out of contention soon after the start. GOMUL worked his way up gradually from a slow beginning and, standing a long drive gamely, won in the last stride. VIMUR quickly ran to the front, but tired and swerved out in front of GOMUL in the final furlong. LAWN ran well and finished gamely. DROMI showed a flash of early speed, but quit.
