COEUR DALENE TRACK FINISHED. Spokane, "Wash., August 5. The 5,000 plant of the Cocur dAlene Fair and Racing Association at Alan. Idaho, now is Tirtually complete and the vau-guard of the British Columbia contingent has commenced to arrive. With the September 11 opening of the thirty-six days meeting still more than a month awav, over GOO horses have already been pledged for the meeting, which will make it the greatest running horse gathering of the season in the west. Approximately 300 horses will comprise the British Columbia contingent, while nearly 400 horses will be shipped from .Montana. Steward I. L. Hildenbrant and General Manager Ed S. Shclton, who returned recently from Butte, estimate that 2,000 horsemen and racing enthusiasts will accompany the Montana horses here, while 1.000 are expected from Vancouver, Victoria, Seattle, Portland and Tacoma. Prominent bookmakers who will cut in for the meeting include Joe Hose, William H. Engstrom,. Frank Bain, George Rose, S. Bradley, S. A. Clop-ton. J. Troy and "Ono-Two-Threc" Martin. It. C. Benson of Kansas City has reached the Alan track with Allanfearn. Lees Friar and two two-year-olds. Robert Cosgrovc, manager of the speed department of the Spokane Interstate Fair Association, will go to Butto to Interest horsemen now racing there In thg stakes to be run here during fair week.
