HAMMERAWAY began slowlv and closed a great gap into a gaining second. 100 ALLEN made up ground and finished fast. VOTING also closed a big gap. SANTHIA showed speed, but tired badly in the stretch. MIMORIOSO, lucky at the start and well up. appeared to be beaten by LADY RANKIN when a sixteenth out. but outganied her in the final drive. LADY RANKIN ran a game race, but was giving away considerable weight, which told against her at the end. YMIR finished fast and resolutely. HORUS was off badly .lid had no chance. ELIZABETH IIARWOOD ran well and finished gamely. GOOD SHIP closed a gap and finished very fast. KID NORTH was cut off on the backstretch. SIOHN set a fast pace for the going and stood the final drive gamely. MEADOW ran well and appeared the winner after entering the stretch, but tired a trifle when it came- to the decisive drive. ZOOL ran prominently throughout and is good. STONEMAN finished fast and was barely nosed out of third place. CHEERS ran well to the stretch.
