JOCKEY WASHEAR RIDES WELL. Muskogee, Okla., August 9. Today brought a mnrked Improvement in attendance as compared with the two previous days, as well as an increase in speculation. In the second race Bill Anderson ltolted to the outer fence when he appeared a likely factor. The feature of the day was the riding of jockey Washear, he winning three races out of five chances. Crossover, the odds-on favorite of the feature, seemingly did not like the hard track and quit badly under punishment.
