EXCITING FINISH IN MUSKOGEE HANDICAP. Muskogee, Okla.. August 12. A large crowd was in attendance again today and had an even break with the books, as three favorites, one second choice and two outsiders took the purses. The fifth race, a handicap, proved to be the most exciting race run in this locality this season, all four of the starters finishing so closely together that only the Judges could separate them. The winner turned up in Deer-foot, which had been heavily.backeil from 4 to 1 to 3. Flying Pearl broke slowly as usual, and was probably ltest. In the fourth nice Miss Jean ran out on the first turn, carrying Cnlethumpiau and Strathlad with her, thereby ruining whatever chance any oC the two might have had.
