ENDYMION II. AGAIN A WINNER. Butte, Mont., August 12. Before the largest crowd that ever attended the races here, Eudymion II. equaled the track record in being returned winner of the stellar attraction of the day, a handicap at one mile and seventy yards. He was fully extended at the end to withstand the final rush of Meadow, the favorite, which closed resolutely after being outpaced in the early running. Tim success of but one favorite enabled the ring, whieh heretofore, has been losing steadily, Jo recoup. On account of the splitting of a hoof in his morning trial, Spohn was withdrawn from the handicap. As a result of foul riding in the lif tit race, jockey J. MeBride was indefinitely suspended and further entries from the Cnybigan Stable were ordered refused. MeBride cut off Fern L. on tho first turn and then herded her all the way up the backstretch, which effectually destroyed any chance she may have had. Princess Industry was claimed by Price and Patter-sou after the first race for 50.
