JOCKEYS RULED OFF AT BUTTE. Disciplinary Rulings Mark Close of Most Successful Meeting Ever Held in Montana. Butte, Mont., August 22. For the closing day of the most successful and best meeting ever held here. Secretary Nathanson provided a program of unusual quality, the running of which was witnessed by the largest crowd of the meeting. The management donated to the Good Roads committee the entire gate receipts of the afternoon, which amounted to a handsome sum and it is to be applied to the improvement of the boulevard leading to the track. Meadow, Wade McLemores grand mare, came into her own today by winning the handicap at one mile with consummate ease and incidentally a handsomo silver cup donated by a local business firm. The following rulings were Issued today bv the judges: Jockey McCullough is ruled off the turf for pulling Terns Trick August 15. Valet James Ray is ruled off for offering a bribe to a jockev. The Caybigan Stable and the horse Roy Junior are reinstated. Jockey J. McBrido is ruled off.
