GOSSIP FROM BLUE GRASS REGION. Lexington, Ky.. August 22. Thomas C. McDowell today transferred his racing string from Ashland Farm to the Kentucky Association track to get ready for the fall meeting which opens September 14. The Manager, High Brow, Star Jasmine, Affable, True Blue, lima and Swannanoa comprise the string. George Innes also came to the track from his farm with Plain Ann. Joe DIebold and Zini. Amos Turney and John J. McCafferty arrived here from Canada today and are visiting the various breeding farms with a view to the purchase of several yearlings. Matt J. McLaughlin, well known in Kentucky racing circles and brother of John McLaughlin, tho pool auctioneer for the Lexington, Louisville and Latonia associations, was married here this afternoon to Miss Jeanettb Uennessy.
