THIRTY-THREE IN LAKE CITY DERBY. Spokane, Wash., August 2C Thirty-three of the best three-year-olds in the west are entered for the Lake City Derby, the ,000 feature race of the Coeur dAIene Fair and Racing Associations thirty-tsix-day.s meeting, scheduled to start September 11. The Lake City Derby is a mile and one-eighth race and will be run October 21. The following are the cntiies: Sallie ODay. Lochiel. Dutch Rock, White Wool, Sinn Feinn, Pay Streak. Pit a-Pat. Salali, Pawhuska, Muff. Irish Gentleman, Shooting Spray, Taltoo. Clsko, Imprint, Delcassy, Rustv Coat. Heretic, Dublin Minstrel, Sterlin, Lady Macy, Velsini, Baiella, nal AVorth, Abound, Seth, Beatrice Souie, Lesc.-.r, Rota, Tripping, Twickenham, Yo Solo and Triste. With the opening of the meeting two weeks awav. horses are arriving from all quarters, to join the 200 already quartered at the new track at Alan. Coeur dAIene and Post Falls, the nearest Idaho towns to the track, are already taking on an unwonted appearance of activity, with horsemen and followers rapidly tilling up hotels and other places of abode. Associate Judge and llandicapper Frank St. D. Skinner has established headquarters at Coeur dAIene, and has already completed the preparation of the program for the opening week, which includes two ,000 stakes and a 00 handicap.
