MUSKOGEE MEETING AT AN END. Muskogee, Okla., August 20. Getaway day was unprofitable for the public, as only one favorite scored. Outfielder was wpll supported in the first race, but could not got to the winner, Tot Leo, which displayed keen speed throughout. Georgia Shand, the 4 to 5 choice in the fifth race, succumbed to the rush of Mary Rudd right at the wire after she seemingly had the race won. Most of the horsemen here will go to Hutchinson, Kan., for the Kansas State Fair at that place. E. C. Smith, presiding judge and secretary, departed tonight for New York. The main drawback to the success of the meeting was a shortage of horses, coupled with a bad season of the year, as practically all the better class of residents go away during the hot months.
